Nestled close to both Waihi Beach and Bowentown, the location offered convenience amidst tranquillity.As an environmentally conscious marine conservationist exploring the South Pacific, I found Athenree to be a gem worth revisiting, reflecting my preference for sustainable travel options. The inclusive atmosphere catered to all generations, with facilities meticulously maintained, guaranteeing a peaceful family retreat. The Vintage Kitchen Caravan added a delightful touch, offering exceptional food conveniently on-site.Exploring the nearby Hauraki Rail Trail and admiring Haiku inscriptions on stream boulders was a memorable experience, echoing the natural beauty I strive to preserve. The proximity to the Bay of Plenty's renowned fishing waters added to the overall appeal. Our family relished the calming springs rich in magnesium minerals, ensuring a rejuvenating stay.
